    kinda i guess
    i was more interested on what peeps were asking

    his response to someone asking about NLHE tourney
    his reply: " in order to survive you must be willing to die "

    i swear i've heard that before...just can't put my finger on it
    but that kinda made me think...again :s:

    it might have been Dave that said it...not sure though  :D

    DN says he heard it from Dr. Max Stern in one of his poker tip clips on the Score. They're online:

    I believe it's the third one (Aggressive vs. Conservative) where he attributes the quote to Stern.

    If you're wondering "who the heck is Dr. Max Stern", as I was, he seems to be one of the top amateur players, does very well in tournaments but doesn't play poker for a living.
