    i swear i've heard that before...just can't put my finger on it

    DN says he heard it from Dr. Max Stern in one of his poker tip clips on the Score. They're online:

    I believe it's the third one (Aggressive vs. Conservative) where he attributes the quote to Stern.

    If you're wondering "who the heck is Dr. Max Stern", as I was, he seems to be one of the top amateur players, does very well in tournaments but doesn't play poker for a living.
