5-10 at the CNE

Pre-flop 4 callers to the button (extremely tight player that gets married to hands) who raises, 6 callers (7players
Flop 10D-7D-4 UTG bets (any 2 will do type player), button raises, UTG re-raises, button calls
Turn 2D UTG bets, button calls
River JD UTG bets, button raises, UTG calls

Button shows KKD, UTG shows 10,4

Was the flop play by the button correct? Or should the flop be capped
Was the turn call by the button correct? Or was a raise or fold correct here?
Is the UTG river bet/call line appropriate/justifiable? Should UTG just check/called or check/folded?

Thanks

  • Are we playing limit here? If so I think it's hard to get married to hands and I think button probably played it close to optimally, then again I think limit hold em is more or less solved and maybe someone could contradict me
  • This is limit.

I'm really curious what the correct play for UTG on the river was. Bet,calling seems so super agro on a board with a 4flush on board.
  • On the flop, once button is heads up he has accomplished his goal.

Utg, River oop, check call or check fold. Hey, position is important in hold'em. Who knew?
  • I mean yeah but this is a degen limping 104 UTG so... I'm reasonably sure that was never going to be +EV unless the field is super weak
