Best compliment ever!

On the way to Brantford today, I was wondering how my game has changed over the past year. How have I improved? A few things came to mind. However, at the tables I was sitting next to one player who paid me the best compliment ever. She says to me "you're a very patient player...I can't play that way". "Thank you," and I thought hmmmm.... that's pretty much the biggest improvement in my game. As soon as I deviate from that, well things go off the rails. Just a random thought.

    I would have to say that having patience is the single most thing a holdem player can improve on.

    Once you loose you patience, the others will pick you off.

    Someone said that to me right after they called my first raise in 3 hours at an Omaha8 table at seneca... which was then proceedingly called by the rest of the table..

    Yes, I still have dreams on that session..
