is the demise of the EPT old news and I just missed it?...I was on Poker Tube and watched a short video about EPT folding...so to speak....their website confirms this.....nothing on Cardplayer.com or 2plus2....seems as though it would be newsworthy

    It has been well documented. Stars has just changed the name of the events and did a bit of rebranding for their tours.

    PokerStars under Amaya keeps making budget cuts against its formerly loyal players, and the EPT and other live tours being consolidated is just one of the cost-cutting measures. Read A Rose By Any Other Name.

    I was just (re)watching ept 2013 on youtube last night! The camera comes to a table with a familiar british voice, and I call over to my wife, "Heyyy guess who it is, it's your favourite." Without even seeing the screen she was like, "ohhh fuuuuck no no no." Yep, it was Willy Kassouf.
