Spin and Go's

What are your general thoughts on Spin and Go's on PS?

A decent way to grind?
Crapshoot?

Been playing a few and am formulating some opinions but would love some opinions on the format.

  • IMO, crapshoot. You're really hoping for the right spin to land to make it worth your while. If your going to grind online I would recommend cash games and use good br management.
  • pretty sure someone on 2+2 tracked their progress to prove that they are beatable.
  • Pretty sure > 90% of players can't beat these gambooling crapshoots.

    P.S. FU David Baazov.
  • Just because they 'can' be beat. Doesn't mean they can be easily, or for any decent roi.

    IMO, spins are the devil!
  • Spin&Go are beatable pre rakeback without needing to hit any big multipliers, they provide with a very solid hourly even at 7s and vert soft all the way up to the $15 level.
  • While ^ this may be true. Have no way to disprove it. Spins offer an insane amount of variance. Hell, there's a ton of variance in regular sng's, not mentioning the multipliers.

  • emmm yes there is, there´s already been made several private studies mostly on stables with millions of hands and its insane the amount of players that are actually profitable pre rb at Spin in comparission to 6max hypers for instance that have a much much lower rake in comparission to spins, even at $15s a $18-$20 hourly is easily doable and sustainble for a decent/solid player and at 3.5% ROI variance isnt that big...

  • Starting a game 3-handed just doesnt seem like quality play, profitable or otherwise.
  • Im guessing you´re a cash game grinder :D :P
