Cell phone "rooting / breaking / whatever it's called" - Huawei

Hey all

So, I'm looking for someone who can install the English version of "Huawei" phone (mate 6 I believe?) native software. Anyone know anything about this?

    I'm profoundly ignorant on this kinda stuff, and it's the g/f's phone, so I'm trying to get it rooted for her birthday. She already has it working on the cell provider she uses, but not wants to be able to access the full abilities of her phone. The native OS works in tandem with Android stuff, but she can't use the native OS aspect because it's all in chinese

    So it is just the Chinese menus that is a problem? I'm guessing you just need to change the base language.

    On my android the third set of categories down under settings is Personal

    The 5th option is Language & Input.

    Then the first choice is Language

    Then the 6th choice is English (Canada)


    Hopefully her menu choices are similar.

    If that doesn't work then I will power up my old Huawei and see if the menus are different.

    No no,

    The android OS aspect is all in english, but there is a portion that is a Huawei OS aspect, and it's in Chinese from my understanding. Full programming, not just changing the language setting.

    I thought what she wanted I explained she could use Google Now instead.
