WPT Montreal and Playground Poker Fall Classic, Oct. 30 – Nov. 17, 2016

With the successful forum road trips to WSOP/WPT Montreal in the spring and the World Cup of Cards (WCC) the past month, it's time to start planning for the next forum road trip to WPT Montreal starting on October 30. With PocketsTwos' huge cash, -ANTE RIVER-'s championship trophy, and at least ten tournament cashes :o by forumers at the WCC, who is going?

It will be televised so the WPT/partypoker talent will probably be there, e.g., Lynn Gilmartin, Mike and Vince, Tony Dunst and other partypoker sponsored pros; and pokerJAH's favourite Royal Flush Girl, Ivy Teves. Believe it or not, even Allen "chainsaw" Kessler will end his long-standing boycott of Playground and will play on November 11-17. :o

  • Driving back home took ten sleepy hours, so I'm going to try flying in like DirtArse.

    1) Fly in via Air Canada by November 9 to play the $330 Survivor Event #8.
    2) Play up to five mega satellites and SNGs on November 10-12 to try to win $3,850 main event seat(s) with $2 million Guaranteed.
    3) Play the third-straight Seniors Event at Playground on November 13.
    4) Fly out after I'm done with the main event.

I may also go early for Fright Fest at La Ronde Six Flags by October 29, and play the $150 Event #1 with $100,000 Gtd on October 30, 7 pm.
  • The online satellites have started at partypoker with a U$530 buy-in. One of the ways to win U$109 or U$530 tickets is through partypoker's local partner, Red Club.

Another way to play in the $2 million Guaranteed main event is if we get more players interested in a rake-free home game satellite. At least one bedroom is available in the Airbnb "Poker House" starting on November 3, so PM PocketsTwos if you are interested.
  • Here are the latest links on how to take a shot at WPT Montreal with $3.5 million in guaranteed prize pools.

    - OPT's $250 + $10 satellite.

    - Free U$530 & U$109 tickets through Red Club.

Mike, Tony Dunst, RFG Caitlyn Howe, Playground's Phil Sabbah from the photo; along with Twitch commentator Alex Keating, Playground dealer Roxy, and partypoker's Emma Casey will all have to scramble from Playground and fly into Punta Cana by Saturday.
  • Benny Chan (from PEI) was the runner-up. He had quite the crowd watching their phones in Red Shores last night.
