  • Wynn has just released its schedule, so I updated OP. I think Aria and M Resort are the only festivals left to publish.
  • After a year of upheaval where the TD Aaron Well; General Manager of the poker room, Leon Wheeler; Justin, hostess Kat and other staff I've seen the past couple of summers are gone, :o Aria has finally released its summer schedule. Updated OP.

Matt Savage will NOT be the TD in the WPT 500 for the first time, :( and Aria's new Director of Poker Operations has very different views on raising rules from Matt.
  • My roommate and I played in the Seniors Event at Playground's World Cup of Cards, where there were 115 players. I try to update the list on 2+2, so I will update here too. Despite PCA having 92 events including a Women's Event again, it doesn't have a Seniors Event again, :( unlike PokerStars EPT Barcelona, Malta, etc.

    1. September 27: >= 40 years old, Merit Poker Gangsters & Chicago Poker Cup, North Cyprus; $1,000+$100.

    2. October 25: EPT Malta; €220 (106 entries).

    3. October 31: WSOP-C Brazil; R$1,200 (49+, re-entry).

    4. November 3: WSOP-C Czech; €225.

    5. November 13: WPT Montreal, Playground Poker Club; $194+$26, 11.8% rake, $20,000 Gtd (103 entries required); 20,000 chips, 19:00 (151 entries in 2015).

    6. November 30: Brazilian Series of Poker; R$1,150 (re-entry). May have 15% taxes.

    7. December: EPT Prague; €220 (67 in 2015) & €1,100 (57).

    8. EPT 13 Grand Final? €200 (93 entries) & €1K.
  • Mostly because The Atlantis doesn't want wrinkly old people ruining the view on their beach.

I see one event is 40+, what is the usual age limit for seniors?
  • Which Event # is 40+? It's usually 50+.

It's PokerStars TD, Mike Ward, who creates the PCA schedule and not Atlantis Hotel. PokerStars Head of Live Poker Operations, Neil Johnson, promotes Seniors Events at EPT Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Malta, etc., but PCA seems full of unbeatable Flipouts and Turbos with unlimited re-entries. :(
