Local Rake

Went to Casino du Lac Leamy last weekend. First time there in quite a while. I was shocked to find out what the rake was... 10% up to $10 + $1 for the bad beat.

Wow... Was used to $5 max + 1

Is this standard in Ontario too now... I'm usually just a US live player.... During trips... Atlantic city... Foxwoods and Turning stone

Will be getting down to Niagara this summer... Fair warning!

Woodbine is $5 max rake, 10%. Rama 1/2 is $5 + $1 BBJ.
Fallsview 2/5 is only $7 session fee every 1/2 hour. Rama 2/5 is $6 rake + $1 BBJ.
If Casino Montreal's rake is the same as Lac-Leamy, then it's better to play 1/2 at Playground's $7 + $1 (10%), with free food, but avoid the $14 + $1 (5%) for 2/5+.
