Their reasoning is that they want higher Limit cash games running on Tuesdays/Mondays instead of tournaments. If you play at Brantford, please tell them that you want the satellites back to the $550. The end-of-month Deep Stack will become harder with smaller prize pool. Brantford players may choose to play any days of the week except Tuesday/Monday from now on.

If the OLG website is up to date, does that mean that the monthly Wednesday MTT at Woodbine is killed too?
I wanted to register for the Woodbine Deep Stack as long as management stopped scheduling it on the same Wednesday as GBH, but they are gone for now. I was told that they MAY apply to the AGCO to run them again (hopefully on a more popular time than Wednesday morning), but who knows if or when that will be approved.
The small silver lining is that the GBH $225 at least sold out with 90 players. I have bought my ticket for the February 8 Casino Rama $285+$15 and January 20 GBH $500+$50 Deep Stack.
Just spoke to Mike at BCC, who is definitely one of the more knowledgeable people here. Monday and Tuesday tourneys are cancelled through March due to lack of turnout and a shortage of dealers. They expect to resume these games in the spring.
