OAPL 2016 Fallsview Classic Satellite Thread! Saturday November 21st
Hey everyone, so I will be hosting a poker game on Saturday November 21st at 5pm start. I was hoping to turn this game into a fallsview satellite and then break into a cash game afterwards. With that said, I wanted to see interest for what games and tournaments players are interest in playing satellites to.
The options are as follows:
The $1,000.
The $2,500.
and the $550 super satellite.
Each main event satellite we run would be a 13% buy in, no rake and all money goes directly to the pot. 1st place player would receive the main event ticket value and second would receive left over money. Players winning the ticket agree to play the event where any winnings would be split 90% to the winning player and 10% evenly distributed between the players involved in the satellite. I am considering running multiple satellites but I am not sure which has the greatest interest.
As for the satellite to the super satellite, again a 13% buy in and remaining monies beyond the ticket value paid out to second place. Equity will be split on a 95-5% ratio for the winning player and the field.
All numbers are based on 10 players exactly, but as numbers increase, a second ticket can be added as we reach the required amount of money to purchase the tickets. If we do not reach the amount for a second ticket, a 2nd and 3rd place prize will be calculated for the players who do not win.
Please post here for interest in any or all satellites, and I will keep a running tally and whichever has the most votes will be the satellite run for the 21st. Please vote which one you are interest in as well as your availability for the 21st if you can play that date or not so I can see for future satellites as well as this upcoming.

EDIT: seriously, i can't find anything about this series except the $5000 main event.
Idk. Let me think about it a bit lol.
Also, my understanding is that the event will be the 3rd week of Feb., according to the Supes at Niagara.
without being able to know the dates i should probably back out. most likely i won't be able to play it anyway (despite wanting to and hoping i could). sorry.
