  • We had a real good cash game last time out. Watching the end of the Jays was insane. Cash games don't usually stop for anything but everyone was glued to the TV during his 11 minute at bat.

Sportsnet issued a press release on Monday trumpeting the fact that more fans tuned in last Friday to watch the Blue Jays and Yankees than any other program in the network’s history. At 2.03-million viewers on average, the game beat the 2014-15 NHL season opener between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens. That is fucking insane. And even crazier: during Troy Tulowitzki’s epic at-bat in the ninth inning, audience levels peaked at 3.14-million viewers — nearly 10% of Canada was watching that at-bat.
