New Poker App, may I post a link?

Hi PokerForum.ca, my name is Andy, I run a small game startup near Seattle Washington. My team has developed a poker/RPG mashup game that we just released in Canada. We'd love to see what you guys think of the game, love it or hate it... Before I post the name or a link I wanted to check with you to see if that is okay? I didn't want to assume solicitation like this is just okay...

Thanks in advance,

-Andy

No you are not! Unless you want to pay for advertising space. Only the Forum owner Scoops can give permission.
I won't ban you.... YET.! only because pkrfce9 is an imposter and should know better...
  • Seriously? No need for the exclamation points. The guy was being respectful and asked permission first. The only thing worse would have been if you answered ALL IN CAPS!!!!!

This is why new people never stay here for very long.
  • My issue was with pkrfce09, not the op... And the op is just looking for free advertising, he had no intention of becoming a participating member... His IP says he's from Washington State.. We see dozens of these a month... If I'm wrong and he comes back and wants to become a participant, I'll publically apologize but it isn't happening.
  • Hi Compuease, no need to apologize!

My company is very small and self funded so we are looking for ways to get feedback from poker enthusiasts like you all. Totally understand the concern over free advertising. The game does have strong poker elements so it's important for me to stay informed on what poker players think of the game and opinions on how it can be better. Its not been released world wide, hopefully that will come sometime this summer.

That said I will not be your most active member but I will certainly be lurking and posting from time to time!

I still would like to find a way to have some of the pokerforum.ca users give the game a go, is there someone in particular I should PM to discuss?

Well I will anyways, like I said it wasn't you, just one of our many trolls....:)

You can pm Scoops, he owns the forum and makes the final decision.

Sorry, I was a bit drunk and it seemed to me like you were directing your exclamations at the OP. By all means yell at pkrface.
  • I would be interested in seeing the link from the OP before the forum implodes.

    FUGreg?
  • This forum is a massive FU unless you are into meaningless arguments about abortion, god and a bunch of gay stuff.
