Line Check - Party - $50 Super Bounty - Overpair
wondering about this hand i played, if it looks fine, or if i should have taken a different approach.
only reads are opener, has been playing pretty standard, nothing out of line really, the flatter on the button had been very active, raising, limping, 3 betting quite a bit, etc.
im pretty sure this is a clear 3b from the sb, sizing?
we're about 40 or so away from the money still with a hundred and something remaining still.

im pretty sure we're almost always ahead here, QQ+ is pretty unlikely based on pf, and i dont think a flopped flush plays it like this, especially because most flushes (if any) are going to be nutted or close to it generally imo.

Comments
My range really looks like basically what it is. Prob JJ+, AK, AQ etc, and I can tell you he didn't have the A clubs. In which case, even if I don't have the overpair here, he's not blocking me really from having AK etc with a club.
I suppose taking a more passive approach is possible pre, but anytime it's close, I usually lean towards the more aggressive approach. Maybe I shouldn't 3b out of the blinds and just take a flop. Can't be that bad if at all though, IMO.
flop play is very villain dependent. i have seen many opponents play this line with a flush because "who is going to make a big push with a flush?" hence we assume they are trying to force us into a fold and we call. obviously, flopped sets might do this as well though.
personally, i'm probably folding to his push here and hating it. is there an argument to check/calling or check/raising here though?
