Spotted comp cashing out @ 2:30am. Not bad for an old guy!
I am cashing out now as well, for $0. Running like dj tonight.
Omg, you have no idea. Flopped straight, villain, runner, runner boat. $180 pot
Pre flop three bet raise to $50 - two callers - flop is Jack high, two hearts - bet $100, one caller all in for $60 - with J-T - runner, runner hearts for a flush (same villain as above)
Come to think of it, all the big pots I lost last night came from runner, runner run outs. Live is so rigged.
Hmm, guess I was the big winner last night... Snowflake and I drove together last night and as per traditional the winner buys Timmies on the way home... I personally did not play any big pots last night, just didn't get the right situation my biggest pot, perhaps $120. was won on a river bluff. Unraised pot, I'm in then SB with 2,4 off, perhaps 5 or 6 callers. Flop is 5,5,3, late position bets $10. myself and 1 other caller, turn 8, same guy bets $20. I call after prolonged hemming and hawing, you can see where I'm going with this right? About $80. in the pot, and I check the river dark to set myself up for either making a hand on the river or representing a 5. River another 3 so no straight. He looks at me for a while and finally bets another $20. His read on me had to be tight old nit who only plays the nuts as he had been at the table with me for a couple of hours.
I again took a while as if thinking and then raised to $70. and he insta folds showing 7's. I didn't show, now what would you have done if you were him? Be honest now..
Anyways the table at one point had about $3500. on it and was pretty loose for long periods of time, I just had very few pairs none of which tripped up. Had AA once in the cutoff, one limper I raised to 12 and took down massive $5. pot..
Fun night however, saw DJ but not Andrew, must have been invisible..:)

Yep, have to fold the 7's there when you get 3-bet by the old nit. Well played exploiting your image like that.

Yeah I felt kinda bad that while I was in tilt-spew mode I never did get a chance to pop over and say hi - then when I tried to catch you as you were heading out I couldn't get away from my hand. I was at the table right behind DJ, next to the poker desk and with Dave's table to my left.
Was an odd table draw actually, for most of the night it was 2 solid regs, 2 terrible regs, 1 asian nit reg, 2 regular nit regs, a middle-aged lady who was the one soft spot, and myself (OK so 2 soft spots..) I actually wanted to do a seat change but two of the regs were stuck $500 each and they were clearly ready to lose more, so I stayed - unfortunately I couldn't cash in on them before I busted myself.
Results aside, definitely a good trip - thanks Dave for the idea to go and I'll definitely try to make it out for the next one as well!
I was on a madenly horrid run of unplayable hands all day save for about half an hour. Walked out down $200 around 11:00pm. Drive all that way and not really get to play... arg.
Well...that was fun!
Did not show one hand in the first 2 hours, nearly doubled at about 360.00
First thought, this could be a good night!! (first mistake, thinking!)
No really good hands until I look down at pocket K's ...yippee
flop brings a king and 2 clubs, make a reasonable bet, 2 callers, 2 fold
turn, a club, fire again, both call. river another effin (sorry outside voice) club.
raise, re-raise before it gets to me, built a nice pot, only to fold and watch it go away
both had a single club, lost 100.00 + there.
Flop flush, not a really strong one, but decent (Q high). Let's try again to build a pot!
Turn and river ends up with trip 9's on the board, again raise, re-raise before I get at this one, again I fold like a pussy!
2 boats, at least there wasn't a better flush and I was behind from the flop!
down a 100.00, but got a free coffee and donut, and a chance to win a car!!!!
First time I have been there in along time, good night out!
Didn't know what Awesome looked like, saw Devon but not Andrew
will go again sooner than last time
will try to give more lead time for Card Dead, IUNIT4Times, and Pkrfce9 to also join in.
Never know will call Big Bob too

Now what in the world would give him that impression?!?!?
