WPT Super Satelitte strategy

I'll be playing Fallsview WPT $550 super satelitte to the main event and wanted some opinions on strategy when looking at blind structure.

Starting chip stack is 5000 and blinds start 50-100 and pretty much double every half an hour so essentially if you are too tight within the first hour and a half you could be left with 25 or fewer bbs. 400 players max and top 10% get a seat to main event.

    Thank you, I meant to say 25-50, same idea though-- I'm looking for thoughts and opinions on strategy as starting with 100 bbs is decent, but if you don't make many moves within first hour and a half, you're getting close to be short stack so seems you need to double up early

    These aren't bad at all for satellites, think they typically go 7+ hrs to get to the 10% mark as I recall. Only the 1st 3 levels are double, after that it is more gradual, but you are right you can't just wait for hands nor play set mine after about the 1st couple of levels.

    I can't tell you how helpful Buddy's advice is for super satellites.
