NRPD $50 N/L Tournament Dec 14
The Nith River Poker Den in New Hamburg is hosting it's first tournament this coming Sunday.
This is a legal rake free event. All monies get paid out. Everyone who pays in is qualified, no free roll positions available.
Place: New Hamburg
Date: Dec 14
Time: 1:00pm start
Finish: Should end around 6:30pm
Game: N/L Hold'em Freezeout
Buy-in: $50
Seats: max 20
Blinds: start at 25/50 up every 15 mins (same structure as HPT but capped at 5k/10k and quicker blinds)
Starting stack: $9975 (unless <= 18 people then $10k)
Rules: All disputes will be settled by me using Robert's Rules where appropriate.
Payout: (possibly open to debate)
10-13 players = 2 (approx 60%, 40%)
14-18 players = 3 (aprrox 50%, 30%, 20%)
19-20 players = 4 (approx 45%, 30%, 15%, 10%)
NRPD setup:
2 decent 10 person tables with folding chairs
Paulson's chips
Basement setup so bring slippers if you get cold feet
There is a TV which will be playing the Pats vs. Dolphins game
BYOB: Don't come to get drunk but feel free to have a couple during the game. Also bring any snacks you might want. There will only be 2 10 minute breaks since it falls between meal times.
Any smoking will need to be done outside.
No smoking of any weed or taking of any other drugs on the premises. My kids will likely be home and I will take a hard stance on this.
Players:
I am looking for relatively mature respectful players looking for a decent friendly yet competetive tournament. I am opening up only 8 spots at this time plus a waiting list as I am waiting for replies from other invites I have sent out already. Any of the spots marked on hold could open over the next couple days. Please only sign up if you can make it.
The average level of play for the non-forum members invited is not as high as that of the forum average and there are no cheats.
