that guy might be crazy...

(this is just in good fun - i am not trying to be mean to anyone. i'm sorry if i offended you.)

so what are some physical characteristics and/or actions of people that when you notice them you immediately question whether that person is crazy or not?

for example:
  • the guy with the single pant leg tucked into his sock (seriously, is it a fashion thing or something?) - he might be crazy
  • the guy wearing a diaper on his head (those from hamilton might know who i'm talking about) - he might be crazy
  • the guy walking down the street alone clearly talking to no one but himself - he might be crazy
  • the guy who gets out of his car in a line at a drive-thru restaurant to ask me if i can move my car out of the way while i'm sitting at the window literally about to get my food in less than a minute because he "needs to go to a different drive-thru" - he might be crazy
please share some of your own opinions/experiences. there's a lot of crazies out there.

  • Anyone walking around by themselves with the biggest grin on their face. A little chuckling as you remember something funny is one thing, but if you're walking down the street by yourself and smiling so damn hard I can see all your teeth.

    Yer batshit crazy.

Nobody is that happy. (Insert Kristy's sad puppy or apple pics.)

PS: Single pant leg tucked in sock might be a bicycle rider and had problems with pantleg getting caught in chain. Protecting his pants old school style.
  • Dude making multiple accounts on a poker forum
  • Here's my definition of crazy:

I read a Milo post yesterday and honestly thought, "that's a fair point".

yeah, bike rider i get. but just walking down the street is different.
  • I just seriously considered making a thread about hugs, falling asleep while getting my hair played with, and romantic note-writing just to annoy GTA
Sub-thread: which Pride & Prejudice Character do you most relate to?

do all girls like getting their hair played with? i hear this one all the time.

    and hugs are overrated.

EDIT: and pride and prejudice was one of the few classics i never had to read.
  • If you've never had long hair, you won't get it...but my hair is long enough to sit on when straight. Imagine the weight of it pulling on your sensitive scalp and the absolutely amazing feeling of someone messaging that area.

I fall deeply asleep within 15 mins virtually every time.

Hugs between adults are awkward and creepy and I wish they'd all stop, but hugging a little kid that needs a snuggle/is tired is the best feeling ever.

how long is long though? i literally cut my hair like twice a year so it gets a little long. i'm no where close to sitting on it though. i hate shaving too. hence some of my students have taken to referring to me as jesus.

I always get a raging boner whenever a random hot girl hugs me

I have read it a half dozen times, but if you're gonna give classic chick-lit a chance, Jane Eyre is substantially better.

    Deserves its own thread IMO.

I was feeling sad yesterday (see HIMYM thread) so I got on board with some people hating/being over rated.

GIVE US OUR 14k THREAD ALREADY!
  • Have we been thinking up questions?

Binge watching The Shield, right now. Maybe tomorrow.
  • I am going to wing it...but I'm in fighting troll shape
  • Maybe I'll just edit old posts for a while, adding content by that method.

    Cool.

no one is going to believe I typed that. Style is all wrong. Besides, the ball clamps are for anniversary dinners only.

Lets play "edit tag". I will randomly edit shit, and you will have to try and find them.
  • I can work with (read against) that.

Sometimes I like to dress up like Shirley Temple, sing "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" while my wife rocks her black leather BDSM gear and paddles my ass. On my birthday she pulls out the electrified ball clamps. :h:

Milo, I admire your courage in sharing that. I can't speak for everyone itt, but I don't think you're crazy. :)
  • Oddly long fingernails on men.

    Wearing multiple collared shirts.

This should be easier, I live in Vancouver.
  • I hate when you pull up to the drive through and there's someone standing by the speaker. You know they're homeless and going to panhandle and there's a pretty good chance they're crazy too.

Also, when you're stopped at a light and someone knocks on your car window. Like, GTFO of here!
  • Latest thing in Peel (well, since last year anyway), is guys standing on highway off ramps, by the lights, walking down the line of stopped cars with their script written on cardboard. From the backpacks they have with them, I am guessing they are there all day. Somebody once mentioned they were in half-way houses, but who knows if that is true. Just seems to be the new trend in sponging.
  • 'Cause you guys desperately need the $1.57 you have in your pocket?
  • No, why?
  •
  • Care to elaborate?

Florida driver attacked, car damaged by panhandler while stopped at a red light in West Palm Beach - wptv.com

No, but maybe this... or similar.. Actually I was approached while in my car years ago by a very aggressive panhandler who had already been refused by cars ahead. I was disconcerting.
  • I've found this to be an excellent deterrent.

  • Omg, something happened once, very far away, and it was bad...

    HATE EVERYONE FOREVER!

Actually it wasn't that far away, just on the off ramp 401 to Markham Rd., N. ;)

oh, and you're far away and certainly a little bit "bad", and we don't hate you!
