Do the Hard Rock or any of the other smaller casinos east of downtown spread regular games?

    I prefer Edgewater when I'm in Vancouver.

    They spread 1/2, 5/5 and 1/2 plo.

    Though I've lived in the lower mainland my whole life and have been engrossed in the poker scene for over 10 years, I almost never go to the casino so I'm no help.

    Where do you play then Tony? I've been in Vancouver 8 years, and I've never really managed to get connected with a consistent, friendly and well run home game.

    Doesn't help much that none of my friends really play.

    Alternately, Edgewater and Hard Rock are easily the most active local rooms on Twitter. If you follow them, I think their policy is to follow you back so you'll be able to Dm them and get answers to these questions pretty quickly.

    I run a poker league which consists of about 50 players. We get on average 16-25 per game. We play once or twice a month with the occasional cash game in Maple Ridge. PM me if you want details.

    Is Edgewater the best poker room to visit in the Vancouver area? DirtArse and I will be staying overnight in Vancouver tomorrow on our way to WPT Philippines, so I finally get to be in another province west of Ontario for the first time ever. The 5th Annual West Coast Poker Championship started yesterday at Edgewater Casino.
