Hoping to have more info confirmed this week/weekend and start blasting it out. I believe with a few format changes this will be Canada's 1k record holder and maybe even surpass Playground numbers (comparing 5k to 3.5k prize-pools)
So I can't see this being new record holder in terms of single event field size, but it could crush (for Canada) in overall series prizepools, especially average per event.
That extra $1500 SO is nice addition, not sure why so big for Shootout though.
Even Negreanu, who favours bigger antes, prefers a standard of 25% of the small blind or if not possible, no less than 20% and no more than 33%. 25% of the BB is way too much as the smaller stacks ie less than 10BB would be pushing almost every hand leaving no room for poker.

For the $1100 event. $970 goes to prize pool. That would make it 3% ($30) as there is a $100 fee.

the antes are generally 1/8th of the big blind when it should be no less than 1/4 of the big blind.
might as well have no antes at all which is the worst form.
ORLY? You're suggesting at 200/400 the ante should be 100, and 400-800m should be 200?
Pretty sure Savage structures are the most respected in poker, and even he doesn't advise of this.
