Canadian Forum or Eastern forum?
Hey guys, I have been reading this forum for quite sometime now and it seems pretty interesting.
Although I do have one complaint...
Just like the government, this site seems to have some sort of Western Alienation going on.
Come on you B.C.ers and Albertians, show some pride and speak up!
I guess an introduction would be great :idea:
Well I have been playing for quite sometime, even when I was underage (since 15) at poker, texas holdem limit. At the Vancouver casinos I usually play $10-20 and at Vegas I play $25-50. Online I play at Partypoker.com for NL tournys.

You're right, we should probably try something like having a "flagship" expert poster from out west or something like that.
I hope there isn't any alienation like that going on here. I think it's just that there happen to be more posts from people around Toronto & KW so far simply because of word of mouth advertising about the forum itself. But I noticed a Pokerforum.ca advert in the latest CPM (cool!) so maybe that will help to develop a wider participation.
I was also a Westerner for a couple of years myself, and I have the impression that poker is actually quite a lot bigger (at least in terms of public cardrooms) out west. When I lived in Edmonton, there were at least 4 different public poker rooms within a 15 minute drive from my apartment, but here in Ottawa, the nearest cardroom to me is more than an hour away, and it's in New York state. The nearest Ontario poker room is 3 hours+ away.
Luckily, PartyPoker is mere seconds away from my living room chair. 8)
So I'm sure there's lots of poker going on about west, and hopefully we'll hear about it here. In the end, it's really up to the individual posters of course, but hopefully we are not intentionally or unintentionally excluding anyone.
