Poker Tournament in Edmonton at the Palace Casino, April 3, 2005
This is the second installment of the tournament put on by my friend, Sam that I finished 2nd of 49 the last time. Hope to see some of you guys/gals there!

Here are the final details about the poker tournament...
- April 3rd/05 Sunday at 12:00 noon
- Palace Casino Poker Room in West Edmonton Mall
- no limit Texas Holdem' style poker
- $50 buy-in freeze out
Playing structure:
If there are:
- 3 tables, final 3 of each table will advance to the final table with your remaining chips.
- 4 or 5 tables, final 2 of each table will advance to the final table with your remaining chips.
- 6 tables, only 1 from each table will advance to the final table with your remaining chips.
All Players will start with: $2000 in chips
Blind Structure:
1. 5/10................15 mins
2. 10/20..............15 mins
3. 25/50..............15 mins
4. 50/100............15 mins
5. 100/200...........15 mins
15 minute break. *Latest arrival
6. 200/400...........30 mins
7. 300/600...........30 mins
8. 400/800...........30 mins
9. 500/1000.........30 mins
10. 700/1400........30 mins
10 mintue break.
11. 1000/2000......30 mins
12. 2000/4000......30 mins
13. 4000/8000......30 mins
14. 8000/16000....till the end
Blind structure changes to 15 minutes at final 3 players.
All tables will be using the above blind structure. Final table will continue with blind structure from the last table standing. *Latest arrival is when player(s) show up late, they have until the end of the 15 minute break before forfeiting their position. All hands prior to player's arrival will be played as fold and minimum blinds
Pay-out structure:
30 to 40 players:
First place..........70%
Second place.....30%
41 to 66 players:
First place.........60%
Second place....25%
Third place.......10%
Forth place……..5%
Fifth place………$50
Keep in mind, 10% of all entries are contributed to charity organization as per A.G.L.C. rules.
This is a Private Invitation only tournament NOT open to the public, therefore everyone MUST register with me first, or your entry will be denied.
Please be at the Poker room 15 minutes early 11:45am, we'll need to draw random seatings and distribute chips.
If you are interested, please send me your name and/or your friend(s)' name, only those who reply or register will get e-mail updates on this tournament.

I'm president of a local theatre group which is also a registered charity, so I'm interested in more information about the above statement.
I really don't know how it is done here, there would be plenty of info at the ALGC website. As for Ontario, I would be at even more of a loss
