First Trip To Rama

I have to drop my daughter off at summer camp on Saturday afternoon, and the camp is 5 minutes from Rama.

So, you know I can't pass up a chance to check it out.

Anybody have any reports on what the action is like there on a Saturday evening in August?

    It'll likely be packed. I think it has 12 tables. They also have a call ahead (60 minutes I'm guessing) to put your name on the list prior to arriving.

    They'll have lots of 1/2nl, probably quite a few 2/5nl, 2/5 limit are they're most commonly run games.

    Yeah on your way there, call 705-329-5804 and put ur name on the list for 1/2nl or 2/5nl as like they said it will be busy busy.

    ill be there this saturday-monday, 3 night stay, super cheaps so i can make big profit. :laugh: if you play 2/5nl ill see you at the tables!

    Thanks for the tips. I'll probably play the 1/2 to make my money last longer, but I prefer 2/5.

    Is the 2/5 similar to Fallsview in terms of calibre of play?

    I think on a saturday you should expect a good amount of gamblors, much like fallsview yes. I would think maybe three 2/5NL and the rest 1/2nl tables. the moody blues is playing there this weekend so its always busier in the casino/poker during a show.

    Just arrived as they opened up a new 2/5 NL and was #10 on the list.

    What are the hotel rates like up there?

    Expensive but since my mom plays slots sometimes so i just use the free rooms and discounts like $99 sat/sun and free monday, and fallsview i do the same lol, but yea i wouldnt normally recommend it its probably much more like$200+ for regular rate
