  • trippy event, win the button, the winner of the hand becomes the button.

so a guy two spots to your right can just win tons of pots and you will continuously be the big blind? also that guy will always have that position advantage so thats cool, sounds like a crazy event that wont be very nitty, sounds unique.
  • After Day 1a of $330 NL there were 19/191 Runners that advanced. With Saturdays almost always seeing better turnouts, the 75k guarantee should be easily crushed and more in the neighborhood of $100-$120k with a combined expected number of 400 or more. Great start!

Few that I'd pick who pull consistent results in these include Jeff B, Alex B, Willie H, chipleader Dusty, Frank L and Yong aka Joe T.

Joel B, Brenna H, Debbie H, Jennifer T, Josh, Bo, Shane B, Carolyn G & Aussie Steve are all familiar faces that also played today.

Current All Time Money List for Grey Eagle Casino going in: http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/venues/grey-eagle-casino-938/rankings
  • 427 total for ~122k prize pool (2.5% AGLC + 2.5% grat) Guarantee was 75k.

$30,000 up top. Will post 1b counts here when I get them. Peter A, Todd H, Joel B, Jeff L, Eric D, Bash R, Jen T and Nav B are a few faces I recognized today.

Not a bad start at all!

  • May come down for the main.......any other forumers in?
  • From TO I'm told. Can anyone confirm she was at Fallsview 2,500 final? Trying to make sure have right profile

  • She was in the final table of the Casino Rama tournament on July 14, placing third. Her friend told me she got third another time at Rama. Unfortunately, Rama does not post any of our cashes online. :(

I thought I would have noticed her going deep in the WPT Fallsview $1100 & $2500 events since there were very few ladies playing in that ballroom that week, but I must have been blinded by the Royal Flush Girls and Xuan Liu. >:D

    >:D

lol she busted me in 6th that rama tourney on the 14th.... i watched her get 3rd then they chopped HU, the 2/5 game was right next to them

anyway the hand was unlucky for me, i open pre 99, K high flop, chk/call turn after flop goes chk/chk, river is 6 and she ships, i think im ahead still so i call, she had 66 lol.
  • She cashed 5th in the high roller & now is running deep in the main. Clearly knows what's she's doing. Busted Bren in a gross hand the ladies tourney, but that's just how Bren running right now~ Bren is right behind her in chips, Thi only one can KO her with 12 to go.
Thi raises pre Bren flats with 22. Flop 526. Bren leads Thi raises Bren flats. Turn 6. Bren checks Thi bets 2/3 commiting Bren she insta shoves. Thi snaps showing A6, says nice hand and starts matching stacks. River 6 and Bren says things she's not proud of.

Guess if it had been A or 5 sting less. Anyway, as you can see in final table recap, that left Thi with about 25% of chips in play, definitely a momentum building hand. She absolutely crushed the final table, KOing majority of table being able to call shorty shoves fairly light.

Watching main event updates, flopped nut flush in big pot to end, about 12 players today till they hit money. 303 entries with 68k up top
  • 3 way chop for $40k then they played for 19k. Cliff Green shipped that. He's a silent ringer I told them to keep an eye on, came through here. Quentin in 2nd is getting better & better, one of the last Canadians standing in WSOP Main this year, while Chris Symsko who chopped Sunday Million (maybe it was third) and finished just outside a WSOP $1,500 final table was also top ten of 303 runners here on the $1,100 Main.

Over $730,000 in prize-pools, crushing the $500k in guarantees. On to the next one at Deerfoot Inn & Casino Aug 7th-17th.
