With at least seven forum members about to take a shot at WPT 500 with $1 million guaranteed prize pool for only $565 buy-in, this thread can contain our thrill of victories and the agony of de feet! There seems to be a lot of player confusion about the dates and the most complicated structures I have ever played in. For those who make ITM to Day 2, be sure to avoid the US "nut worst finish" which has already victimized two members, or feel free to ask me at Aria.

    Monster DNA headphones are being awarded during the open customer feedback sessions. I tried to remember the partypoker concerns of trigs, lynx5, StinkyFingers, T8urmoney in addition to my own constructive criticism, and I was awarded the headphones. 8-) PM me if you have any partypoker suggestions, e.g., what is the most important improvement that would get you to play more at partypoker and win like actyper, T8urmoney and me.

    Partied too late to play in Day 1C so no poker today and will probably drive my family to Red Rock Canyon and Resort. Congratulated RFG Jeannie after 2:30 AM when she was awarded a cash prize in the bikini contest at Haze Nightclub. The newest RFG Kat will have a meet-and-greet tonight.

    I have played the WSOP Main Event before and made it to Day 4 and the ESPN TV feature table, but this trip is the first time my family is with me so we have passed by six poker rooms so far on our way to family attractions and me not playing a single hand in the cash games.

    I would have loved to grind the WSOP satellites, but since this will be the first and last time my wife will go to Las Vegas, I'm taking my family to as many attractions as possible with no poker for me except my three WPT500 freerolls. I'll be back next summer to grind as many Seniors Events as possible, along with the Second Annual WPT500 with probably twice a big a guarantee.

    No explanation needed as she was with me when RFG Jeannie sat beside me & we started talking. We danced for awhile until she got too tired and wanted to go back to the room with our daughter sleeping. We made the mistake of exiting through the overcrowded side when there was a very easy way out with the partypoker VIP side guarded by security. Since I knew there was going to be a bikini contest, it was my duty to film the RFG and partypoker player competing in the 11-girl contest. ;-)

    Anyway, I'm at the Aria Deuce player lounge. A friend coincidentally is one seat to my left for Day 1F tomorrow and gave me 2-to-1 odds for a last longer bet. Needless to say, I snap-called. I was chatting with the WPT500 chipleader so he really wants the trophy. My friend is more concerned about our last-longer bet, but I'll take the U$200,000 cash myself. :-P

    actyper is getting close to the money with around 124 players when I left the Deuce Lounge. There are already 120 alternates for tomorrow's Day 1F, for more than 550 players! :-O

    I played this for 13 hours on Monday (780 players). Top 39 advanced. I came 45th. Sad.

    But......I just bagged and tagged 196k for day 3 Main Event so I'm not too upset!!!

    Both actyper and late registrant T8urmoney have made it to the money. My consolation is that I won my last-longer bet, so I have more cash now than when I got here! I'll now be taking my daughter out for her birthday today.

    T8urmoney cashed for U$2,000 tax-free. actyper is in final 60 with 1.3 mirrion. Hopefully, he read my tweet about avoiding the nut low finish with the 30% tax.

    Level 27: 25,000-50,000, 5,000 ante
    Here's a list of the most recent money finishers before the dinner break:

    36th: Mark Thomas Derne - $8,000
    35th: Chris Kostoulas - $8,000
    34th: Pouya Tavallodi - $8,000
    33rd: Tam Van Nguyen - $8,000
    32nd: Ashley Cheung - $8,000

    The remaining 31 players are guaranteed at least $8,000 each, and the next pay jump is $10,000 for 27th place.

    I was going to play The Turbo today like actyper and T8 but since I ended up drinking for 15 hours straight yesterday at the pool and assorted bars, there was no way I was able to get up that early, let alone play poker.

    Uploaded my Las Vegas photos from my iPad Air to my Facebook page, including Kara Scott, Lynn Gilmartin and RFG Kat Kelley. I haven't figured out how to upload the bikini videos from my iPod yet ... :confused2:

    I took almost 200 photos and videos with my iPad Air. It was relatively easy to enhance them with iPhoto then upload to multimedia-friendly Facebook, but it wouldn't make sense to redo all that work to upload to the small forum album.

    My kid somehow deleted all the Haze Nightclub videos from my iPod except for one. :arghh: At least the one remaining video shows the four bikini finalists, including the Royal Flush Girl (#1 below). I hope you like it.
