help me put together a summer poker schedule
with the summer only a few weeks away, i'm trying to put together some sort of basic schedule for poker. i will be playing online a decent amount and i'm hoping there will be an online series or two over july and august. i'm also looking to play more live tournaments this summer.
i'm willing to spend around $100-$200 for entry fee per tournament but i probably can't go higher than that (unless i bink one early lol). i'm from hamilton and i'm willing to commute up to 2 hours or so to play depending on the tournament.
i'm interested in any suggestions of where and what to play. anyone know of any good/interesting tournaments coming up this summer?
there is a chance that i may road trip to atlantic city again, so feel free to suggest any good tournaments there or maybe along the way.
right now, my basic summer poker goals are:

right now, my basic summer poker goals are:
- profit at least $2000 online (between MTTs and cash)
- win one live tournament

i'm a teacher so i have two months off. ^-^
EDIT: so other than what the gf decides that i have to do around the house, i'm free for anything.
FU trigs
you can read?
You can't schedule either of the above 2.
Try something like.
Play 1 hour of poker a day.
Enter 5 live tournaments.
Those are just general goals.
As far as volume goes, I'll most likely aim for minimum of five live tournaments. Online I'm probably just grinding full out the days I can unless there's a series or something in which I will try to play those specific days. I'm not being strict on cash vs MTTs. I'm just playing what I feel like.
If I'm playing cash it's probably Omaha but I don't think that's spread at Fallsview.
it's not just about the money, however i would like to make enough to cover some extraneous purchases that i'm planning on making this summer.
to be honest, i'm not very confident in my hold'em cash game skills. i wouldn't say i'm terrible, but i just feel a lot more confident playing plo cash currently.
however, i probably will take your advice and go play some 1/2 no limit at casino niagara. i don't think fallsview spreads lower than 5/5 which may be a little too high for me.
Whats your starting br?
I was going to start with probably a thousand online I think. Live will depend on how much I'm winning but again I'll probably play at least five live tournaments times around $150 each = $750
EDIT: it's not a big deal for me to add more cash if I need to
After all... He IS a teacher...:p
lol just realized that i posted this in the wrong thread. i meant to put it here.
Have you considered upping the buy in for tourneys to $230?
The $230 @ Brantford has a patience factor of 18.43 - rake 13%. The tourneys there <$200 all have a PF of 10.62 or less, rakes vary from 13.3% - 25%.
The electronic version of the $230 has 36.91 PF - 9% rake.
$230 is doable. as long as i am able to play a handful of live tournaments i'm not too picky about the buy-in. hopefully i just bink one early on and not have any more worries
electronic version at brantford? or is that at woodbine?
I like this plan
Electronic tourneys are at Mohawk, Western Fair, and Georgian Downs. No tourneys yet at Woodbine. No electronic tables in Brantford.
Monday - Thursday: 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday - Sunday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Players I've asked irl tell me these run all the time. Chatter on here is they run sparingly. Haven't been myself.
Mohawk will put up an interest list at any time- tried it a few times but it never ran.
without Vaseline.
