I think he mentioned something about the issue coming to light in the last few months, which I believe also coincides with the FTP remissions progress. My guess is that some money owned to him (I think he account was busto just prior to BF) in some way is being denied since it's been ruled that the "Pro's" were employee's and thus don't get their money.
If I had to speculate I'd say he's just using it to dodge the challenge more.
