Thanks for the update. Glad everything is OK.

    Jontm... Added your 1%.

Glad everything is OK milo - could've been worse so I guess just look on the brighter side of things.

    Didn't I post before jontm? ;)

And I guess just transfer the 3% of the prelim to the online one.

You are correct...I have not heard from prophet so I will give you his 1% and add an extra 2% for your 3% if you want it

Going to have to pass . . . wife stopped short at a rail crossing this morning. not short enough unfortunately, as the arm came down on her "A" pillar. So a portion of my Gabbetc. $$$ will now be going to paint work instead of poker work. At least I have it on hand. And at least it was just the arm and not the train.

I know a guy in kitchener that does great work for good prices
  • Thanks moose, but I already have a guy in town.
  • Limping into day 2 with 48400, avg around 86k...was card dead for the last 4 hours. Still have around 40bb. Total entries 119 (I had 2:() and around 40 left...play to 9 tomorrow.

  • Guess u should win then
  • Ok, I really don't enjoy playing tournaments, I think I'll stick to 1-2 big ones a year. They are such a boring grind compared to cash games. ANyhow, I got my stack of 48k quickly up to average of 110k without any showdwons. Then lost some hands and then bluffed off my 60k stack in what was a pretty good spot...I forgot that MTT players rarely fold top pair, so in retrospect it was a pretty spewy play by me.

I then played 8 hours of 5/5PLO followed by my first ever session of 10/25 PLO...look over thataway for the results.

    Thanks everyone for their support.
  • Thanks for the BAP. Was down for some of this and was great chatting with GTA about both poker and life. As for the main there were some pretty tough tables and he defineyly wasn't afraid to mix it up with the tourney grinders. You were right btw was Eric not Allen and he finished 6th. Mike Smith and I think Cowboy Ron was also at his table. Seemed like GTA was playing very well, just not running very hot and he certainly seemed to enjoy the tough spots a bit.

    GG sir!

Now that must have some huge variance.
