Where do you play plo in Ontario?

i'm from the hammer, and i'd prefer to not drive more than 2 hours to get to a game. just curious as to where you guys play normally. looking for $1-$2 or maybe $2-$5 but not higher. i'm just looking to get some live experience at omaha.

does casino niagara spread a regular omaha game? if yes, is it pretty much always running or only at certain times? thanks.

Definitely not Niagara, only 1/2 NLHE, not sure Fallsview does at all either, certainly not as low as 1/2/. Perhaps during WPT tho... Other than that I know Windsor did for a while a couple of years ago.. Pretty rare in Ontario imo..
  • Woodbine sometimes runs a PLO table on Friday or Saturday nights. It may reduce the limit from $1/$2 to 50¢/$1 to increase demand.

Perhaps I should have actually read the thread. I always thought that your game was like a dealer's choice or something like that.
  • A different game every two weeks. Each two month period includes one night of NL and a night of usually PLO or some variant. HORSE is also pretty common. The other nights vary but basically in one year there will be at least one night of every type of poker known to man.
  • With over 650 of the best poker players in the area invading WPT Fallsview, there will probably be enough players willing to sign up for PLO and Limit.

i know i will be the fish donating the moneyz, but it would be pretty fun to finally go to a big poker event like the WPT. i've never been to anything like that.
  • Remember to get something signed or bring a camera for the many poker celebrities, including the Royal Flush Girls. >:D

  • think there is $2/$5 PLO Weds at Finch/Keele area. Rake is likely $$$.

I disagree. The members of this forum are easily among the top 650 poker players in the GTA. Many of the players in the sold-out casino games I go to are too lazy to go to poker forums and have no clue about rake, Patience Factor, Skill Level, EV, ROI, etc., which members in this forum have been educated about for years.
