Shar Live: Casino Regina Build Our Bankroll BAP: Dec 3 2013 - March 11 2014
I am offering to do a "Build Our Bankroll" Live BAP. I have always been a very part time player but with some recent life changes I have made a decision to put more time into the game I love.
The poker room manager at Casino Regina has been tracking my progress and he gave me some pretty interesting statistics:
I have attended 5 major series in Regina now, the first as a beginner, and of those 5 I only missed cashing the very first. Of the 4 series I cashed, I also have made 3 final tables!
He also tracks the weekly tournament results and in the last weekly Tuesday series which ended just before this Harvest Classic, I played 4 tournaments. This included a win and one final table cash, but I finished in the top 20 each time resulting in enough points to place 30th / 500+ entrants over the series, which allowed me to play off in the freeroll final where I placed 6th and still received bonus cash since we made a final table deal.
To that end, I am posting this BAP and it will only be open to those who have supported me in a previous BAP with first option to my most recent BAP'ers. The reason I am choosing to do this is simply because I appreciate the support and I would love to have those who have helped me watch my progress throughout the 12 week series leading up to the Station Classic in the spring.
The entire package will include all Tuesday Night tournaments at Casino Regina Starting December 3, 2013. All monies earned including any bounties will be tracked and included in the winnings total.
If there is a seat won to the Station Classic, the cash value will be included in the winnings total, and if a BAP offered then you will have first option to buy in.
The total cost for all 12 weeks is $1450 with 1% @ $15.00. This will include 3 rebuys for each of 4 rebuy tournaments, as well as 4 add-ons. Anything over this if needed will come from my pocket, but you will still be fully included in the winnings.
If for any reason I am unable to attend, I will refund the % of funds from that tournament to each person. I will only be selling 20%, will play all regardless of % sold, and I will give 1 week for response from my Harvest 2013 supporters. All funds must be received by December 3, prior to tournament start time to be included in this BAP otherwise you forfeit your %.

Registration will be conducted in the Poker Room at 6:00pm
10% of the total prize pool retained for the playoff tournament.
Prize Pool Payout : Approximately 10% of each field will be paid.
1st place receives no less than 26%

Busy week here in Saskatchewan. Real life will resume on Tuesday, since Monday is the provinces' designated Recouperation Day from Grey Cup Week and the Win on home turf that is comming!!

I will tweet while playing and will update this thread each week. I am listing the Entries/pay and place in the OP for tracking purposes and I am happy to say I not only made the final table but after finding myself short was able to grind my way to 6th for $445 and points toward the playoff race.

First, I would like to say that I will not go without a fully charged phone! Its death was untimely for several reasons, and I missed being able to update! That being said..
I was able to make my way to the casino and the night was going well. I had played a few hands and did the initial rebuy at seating, then 1 more each level prior to the add-on and came back from first break with about 8k. After a few blinds and not much going on at just over 5k.
I had a spot right before the 2nd break to squeeze with A4 suited in the sb, facing only a button raise. BB snaps me with j9o, button folds, and the only thing to fall and hit is a 9, leaving me with 700...and just could not make that work for me this time, but look out for next week.
On a side note, played cash (1-2nl). Bought in for 200 and after a 4 hour session cashed out 785. I think come the New Year I am going to see what I can do playing a few more sessions a week. I think it would be interesting to track that for 1 year...:)
Something to think about anyways^^

I collected $100 in bounties over this series and I placed 4th overall in points which also paid $279.

So the bad news is there wasn't too much building going on .... yet.
The good news is that with this series I think I have gotten more live play in than over the past 5 years total and I loved it. I feel that I am more ready than ever to take on the Station Poker Classic this week in Regina.
This is a tournament I have always offered a bap to, however I am only going to give those who were in on this Weekly BAP the option to roll over their winnings into the Station Classic. Total Buy in for this 4 day series is $2850 and I will just do a straight roll over. I will list below your payout and rollover options. Please let me know before Wednesday @10amEST.
