Clocks and smoke alrams

We "fall" back one hour tonight. Just a reminder that you should replace the batteries in your smoke detectors and CO detectors to ensure they will work if needed. No need to lose anyone over a couple of $$$.

  • Thank you Sir. Forgot all about this. I need to replace our CO alarm as well.
  • Not that I care about you, but the thought of Ace and Queenie out on the streets with winter coming . . . well, I had to say something.
  • Just to add to this, I've had CO poisoning. I worked on a place out in BC that had been burned by a DIY grow op, smoke/water damage. It hurt the furnace and a buddy of mine and I got poisoned for at least a month before we knew what was happening. If you like lethargy, brain hurt, depression, constant sleepiness, being unsure about permanent damage, etc. fire it up.

Change the damn CO detectors and don't be cheap.

AQos thank you. Wife hates smoke detectors because they go off fairly regularly when she cooks. I made chicken Parmesan tonight on a cook top and not a peep!

Comp didn't show up so I had his share... and yours.

That explains a lot of things....
