Those of you who have me on Twitter or FB will have already seen post, but pretty cool charity event, with an impressive roster of Big Brother, Big Brother Canada, WSOP bracelet winners and Survivor celebs, in support of Food Bank & Santas Anonymous.

Here's the list:

Big Brother, Survivor & BBC Stars To Play in Upcoming Edmonton All in For Charity Celebrity Tournament | Canada Poker | Canadian Poker News

I'm about 90% to go up, hoping mag will be interested, but regardless, wife and daughter both love poker and reality TV sooooooo

  • Are they taking extra out prize pool for the charity?
  • Reply I got from Joanne was that no extra will be taken from prize-pool, rather people will be encouraged to donate by giving to food bank for 1k extra chips owns/or Santas anonymous for another 1k.

She adds that all the celebs are playing for charity, (believe that means they are donating any winnings)
  • saw a tweet on this....actually a mini-series with a $340 PLO tomorrow, and a $560 on Friday......jiggity
  • Played the $340 PLO today....not many people, 2 tables, but with re-entries there were 42.

Ended up chopping 3-handed to cash for 3.5k ending a 12 tourney cashless streak which I think is my longest ever.

May play Friday's event....not sure though, I'm gonna be pretty tired.
  • Saw the results posted on YH Twitter, so sent them in to Hendon. You were obv credited with the win on their sheet though, nice work!
  • Played the event yesterday. 92 runners, busted about 35th....was only 20 min levels...was pretty much a $400 Turbo (Paging Actyper).

Most of the more desirable celebs (females showing cleavage) busted early....I did sit with Dan Idema to my left, and Calen McNeil L+1...pretty much the worst position in the tourney. They seemed like pretty good people.

I didn't stick around to see who won, but it was quite an entertaining tourney.
  • A friend of mine finished 5th for a couple grand. I'm a big Survivor/Big Brother nerd so I'm sad I wasn't in town for this. Apparently Idema finished 6th.
