    I'm itching to play a tournament anywhere, but underground clubs where ~25% of a player's cost to play does not go to the prize pool is too hard to beat. For example, if it costs a player $80 to play but $20 of that does not go to the prize pool, then he will eventually lose ALL the money that he plays in such high-rake clubs.

    Taking money out of the prize pool (or pot) for bad beats & other promos is much worse than at casinos as there is no independent regulation or oversight of how much of the players' money actually ends up getting paid out much later.

    Our tournaments are rake free, as you can see on our meet-up site, the tournament costs are fully paid out, the options are completely up to the players which in turn help to support the club expenses should a member such desire to do so, we offer free drinks (Non-alcoholic) and snacks and also food, again these options are completely voluntary and up to the members, therefore for example, tonight's game is $30.00 (completely paid out) with the option for additional chips for $10.00 as well as other options. As for the bad-beat hands and other future promotions, these costs do not come out of the prize pool ever, they are supplied by the club only.

    I played there last week, it's a very nice and comfortable place and on top it's rake free all the money which goes to the prize pool comes back to the players!!

    Most games are completed between 12:00 to 1:00 A.M. even earlier at time, on the occasional night it may run until 1:30 A.M. as re-buys and entries end at the first break.
