Best time to play in shark-free casinos this week?

To those who have played in a GTA casino since Friday, have you noticed yet that some of the best players are not playing this week? This is what I've noticed so far:

- Saturday night, Fallsview: I had my usual winning session, but tables broke up earlier and some of the winning regs weren't there, including a couple who were in the final table of the last WPT series in Montreal.
- Monday, Woodbine: For the first time ever as far as I know, not a single SNG ran! There were only three players signed up, instead of the usual ten.
- Monday, Casino Rama: Several of my fellow first place winners were not there. It seems that most of the other winning players are already in Montreal or headed there soon.

So this may be the best week to take a shot at the casino, e.g.,
- Brantford Super Satellite tonight for the $1,090 Deep Stack.
- $150 Bounty tournament on Thursday.

- Brantford $1,000 + $90 Deep Stack on Sunday, with only 8% rake. If you have heard who the local winning tournament players are, Steve, Blair, Barry (won $273K in WPT SCPC), David (4-time winner in Brantford), Nancy, Peter, Geoffrey, etc. are in Montreal this weekend.

Being an EV-maximizing kind of guy, I will play more this week, including Fallsview and the Brantford Deep Stack of course. >:D

    In case anybody is interested in playing tonight's super satellite, better phone now to buy your seat. There are only seven seats left when I phoned, so it will probably sell out by 7 PM. Some players have had the unpleasant experience of driving to Brantford, only to find out that they could no longer buy in - happened to me years ago when I took my first shots at Brantford and I initially swore that I would never play there again. :D

    Unfortunately for me, I have asthma issues about playing tonight. :-[

    The Thursday $300+$30 tourney that I cashed in took ten hours but that was a Deep Stack. You can try to ask the poker room.

    The first tourney I was going to play this month was the $150 Bounty on Tuesday, October 15, but the time posted online is incorrect after I phoned Brantford. Instead, I'll be carpooling with a friend to play the second-last satellite for the Blue Water Classic XVI. With no Casino Rama tournament, I will not have played a single live tourney for two full weeks :'( & I'm getting the itch!

    what is the max # of players in these Rama tournaments? Do they usually fill up or can one register day of? I havent played at Rama in years. The first live tournament I played was there and cashed in 8th. Back then they played 11 seat tables. Is this still the case?

    While many regs were away at WPT Montreal last week, a friend won the $200+$30 Brantford Deep Stack for over $5,000, then cashed again in Sunday's tourney! :cool2:
    Anybody else playing in tomorrow's $230 Deep Stack or on December 10, 15, 16 or 19?
