Would you pay $5k to Enter Day 2 of a $260 ITM with 40BB?
New acual POKER discussion...thought this was a very cool variant to tournament poker, last week at the Bike.
Players could buy into Day 2 of an 11 flight $160+$100 add on milly GTD prize-pool for 5k.
They would start in the money for $800 and need to finish 36th or better of about 311 advancing to break even, starting with an average stack.
Poker Community seemed diveded on whether this was light money on fire or that many of the high rollers would be favorites in a soft low limit field.
51 did spend 5k, 6 broke even or better, best result was 111k.
