Been playing the $2 180 turbo MTT's on Stars for quite awhile now. Plenty of times I have made it to the final table but never could quite win it. Finally won it today though, it was one of my poker goals I had for myself this year so I thought I would brag a bit :)

    good stuff. did you study any shorthanded/heads up stuff before this one? what changed to help you get over the final table hump?

    No, no additional reading, and I read everything. To be honest I steamrolled this tourney. I was the favorite in every all in, and it held up, everytime. Until heads up, heads up was crazy, I had 2-1 chip lead, then they did, then I did, then I closed it out. Felt great :)

    I actually just finished 3rd in this one again tonight, and a 7th earlier today. Really digging this tourney.
    The one just now 1st had a massive chip lead and called down anything, needless to say he got lucky and busted me 3rd :(

    And to round it out, I played one more before bed and had the privilege of finishing 180 out of 180. I shouldn't have joined cause I am tired but I was pretty sure my A9 would hold up because it was sooted :)

    Just won it again, lol. I guess once you bust the cherry it starts to snowball so to speak. With my results in this tourney over the last few months I think I can say this tourney is my bitch.

    Very nicely done Ercules. I either came in first or second in one of those a few years back. I'm sure it was second as I think I'd remember first.

    For some reason I thought they lasted longer, but two hours is more than reasonable to play. I really just can't commit myself to longer tourneys these days.

    Would not count on it. She's a bitch that is hard to tame. Swings are huge. ;)

    Also sucks that they changed the payout to 27 from 18. :(

    It's been 27 for as long as I can remember hasn't it? I haven't started abusing it regularily until this year though :)

    Put up a 27th finish in it, just a couple hours ago :)

    It's a turbo, made the money today before the first break < 1 hour

    been 27 since the spring.
