So driving on the 401 today and Bang !!

This thing fixable or a write off?

It's an old Kia sportage with about 210k Attachment not found.

    The resulting fluid pooling under the car is probably more of a concern than the driveshaft :-\

    Turns out it tore thru the brake cables ( had to use emergency brake to come to a complete stop) some part of the transmission and a tire. It is gone.

    She took us from one ocean to the other several times safely. Peace out

    Vehicles that have taken you such places are hard things to lose. Our little '93 civic is about to kick the bucket. Very sad. Things has carried scaffolding, 16' 2X12, paint gear for 6 years, dogs everywhere including across country, etc. Sadly, the poor girl has been a target for every old person since we moved to this town. Wife's having a hard time giving it up.
