Trouble cashing out on Pokerstars!

Hi,

Does anyone have trouble cashing out with Pokerstars lately?

I submitted a cashout request on April 4 in the form of a check. I waited for a month, but still didn't receive anything. I contacted PS in May to let them know that I hadn't received my check. They replied saying they'll put a stop payment on the first check and send out a second check, expected to arrive by May 31st. It's now June 6 and I still haven't received the first or second checks. I sent them over 20 tickets and e-mails to ask what's going on, but have not received a response.

Are they usually this bad? Is anyone having trouble receiving their checks or contacting PS?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

  • When I cashed out for $1000 about 10 months ago, I had a puralator truck drop it off and it was in my hands within 3-4 business days. (I was quite surprised by this)
Did you check your sending adress to makes sure they were sending it to the right place?
I would keep bugging them until you find out what went wrong. Good luck!
  • echecks - in your account within a couple days. just did one last week.
  • Yes, I checked that they have the right address. My issue is that they're not responding to my e-mails or tickets that I've raised. They've been ignoring me for the past 3 weeks. Am I getting ripped off!??
  • Have you checked your junk mail folder just in case?

Stars doesn't rip people off, they are by far the most reputable of all poker sites.. Have you ever had more than one account, allowed anyone else to play on your account, attempted to play while in the US? I smell more to this story...
  • I check my e-mail every day and nothing. I check my mail and wait for the courier every day and nothing. No, it's my own account and I haven't been to the US at all since I opened my account.

It could be that this is my first time cashing out and the first cash out takes the longest?

Have you verified your account with them? ie sent in the required id info, drivers license, proof of address, etc?
  • Yes, I sent in all the required identification docs. at the beginning when I joined.
  • I have never had any issues with PokerStars customer service. They have always been very prompt with their replies (within a day) via e-mail. Cashouts are in my bank account within 48hrs of it being requested.

Why do you want them to send you a cheque ? Why not link a bank account and have them direct deposit it ?

    No bank account? Underage?

And normally they don't require id until you want to make your first withdrawal I believe, although that was a long time ago for me...;)
