Calling all las vegas regs! - help a noob!
Hey folks,
Haven't been around much, but I'm back baby!
So I recently won 1500 bucks on Full Tilt, so I'm going to vegas with a few friends! (I was hammered in a $3 rush rebuy)
So all you regs, I need some quick advice!
1. Best tournaments to play in (looking for largest prize pool with the lowest buy-in, thats how I roll)
2. Best cash games to play ( juiciest donkies other than myself)
3. Cheap sights/attractions we should do for my buddy's 30th. We have shooting guns lined up at the gun shop. (we're not into dance clubs)
Thanks folks! I hope you're all doing well!
P.S. I leave thursday so yeah i know this is last minute

anyways i'll be making this topic in am onth or so.
I just know the MTT schedule.
Venetian Deepstack is going on right now (noon starts) which is the highest prizepool youll get right now for a 300-400 BI.
Smaller is likely the 7pm Aria or Caesars for 110, which get similar sized fields on weekdays.
No.

1/2 or 1/3 - Venetian, PH, MGM
2/5 + - Venetian, Bellagio, Wynn
PH is a smaller room but its a funner atmosphere than some of the other casinos. I usually only play at the nicer rooms. Bellagio gets a bad rap as I find there are lots of tourists at that poker room. Some like Aria as well but I find it too off the main strip.
If you are playing tournaments at the Venetian, I think you will find plenty of action in their poker room or across the street at the Wynn.
I think we'll hit the 7pm at Caesars or Aria. I don't know how well I can compete against a deepstack series in vegas....
Thanks for the link Triggs! this will help a lot.
As for cash we'll probably hit 1/2 or 1/3 tables. Does anyone have advice about casinos in downtown las vegas? Unfortunately we're staying there....
El Cortez for cheap craps, just don't give any panhandlers any money on the way, otherwise they will be playing beside you.
