Has anyone used the Iron Maiden chips?

Hello all.

I am considering getting these for my daughter who shares a love for Iron Maiden in common with me. She is not much of a poker player, but I think they will remind her of me while she is away, and with any luck, she may even use them.

Is anyone able to tell me what the quality is like / if you've used them?

  • I'm guessing these are plastic with stickers on them. 25 of each colour isn't really that functional.

If you want them just as a collectors curiosity or to use as card protectors you could get this sample set.

  • Thanks for the advice. I think i may get them anyway
like i said, i doubt she will use them
more of a reminder of me than anything else
I am going to miss the crap out of her while she is away
  • Moose, and Angela, that link is just one chip of each type available in the set. Angela, Moose is likely correct. If you can wait a couple days, a local retailer carries them. I would be willing to check them out in further detail for you. But if it's just going to be a sentimental gift, then the playability isn't really an issue, is it? By the by, this old fart is huge Maiden fan, too . . . UP THE IRONS !!!

It is more for sentiment than anything else, so i wont ask you to go out of your way to check them out :) but i appreciate the offer. It's great to run into fellow Maiden fans here! Have you been any/ many of their concerts?
  • they're gonna getcha, no matter how far

The last album I listened to was Wasted Years then I lost interest in anything new, but grew up on Maiden

Live After Death remains one of the best albums ever

He is referring to a lyric in the song "Iron Maiden". I have not seen them in years, but saw them every time they came through Toronto from the Piece of Mind tour through Seventh Son. All-time favourite Heavy Metal Band, and I still might go see them again some day.
