This is what was running one weekend when I was there...
5-10
5-10 (full kill....the game I played in)
10-20 half kill
20-40 half kill
20-40 Omaha Hi half kill
20-40 Pineapple half kill (which was a 30-60 hold-em game before the table switched it).
As you can see, most of the tables have some sort of kill attached to them. These are all limit games.
I should also point out that they run bad beat jackpot promotions on the hold'em tables. The Omaha and Pineapple tables don't qualify for this promotion (for obvious reasons).
Details on qualifying hands and such are in the link below:
Why doesn't the $100 Max Bet (Spread Limit) poker run at GBH? I thought many NLHE players like me would prefer it over simple Limit, just like what happened at Point Edward Casino.
If I was living within reasonable distance of GBH, I would play the tournaments regularly starting from January (like savvy forumers such as SteveKerr). Unfortunately for me, playing the ~$500 tournaments now would be more like
$475 into prize pool + $25 King of the Cards + ~$16.35 online fee + $45 administration fee = effective rake of 16%
so it's not worth the 3+ hours of driving for me with no NLHE cash games to play after busting out.
Probably more of a question for a GBH regular. I believe that they did try to introduce it but it never really caught on. I guess the kill games are providing sufficient action for players. I remember one time being there and seeing a guy in the Omaha game with easily 8k to 10K in front of him.
