Are any Forum members going to be in Vegas around the time of te Lunar New Year (Feb. 10)? If so, could I trouble you to pick up a few of the $8.00 souvenier chips? Want to surprise the Missus with them, as she liked mine from last year.

    Any idea what day they get released? I can probably go searching on Sunday morning (10th).

    No idea, but I would guess they might release them the night before . . . not the end of the world if you come up empty.

    Casinos with CNY chips this year.
    Here's that list: Bally's, Bellagio, Encore, Harrah's, MGM Grand, Palace Station, Palazzo, Rio, Wynn, and Venetian.
    Aria, Caesars Palace, and the Hard Rock, were still unknowns at the time we called. And M Resort and Palms are both definite nos, although as to why, your guess is as good as ours.

    AFAIK the Hard Rock chip is being issued at 10 am feb. 8.

    That's unfortunate. M Resort had a great rabbit one last year...

    I was told Venetian was previously only available for their "high rollers"? Is this still the case?

    I got a fee Wynn and Venetian/Palazzo for anyone interested. Only difference between Venetian and Palazzo is the name of the hotel on the chip.. The rest is the same.

    Aria not selling chips to non Aria guests until middle of three week at the earliest

    I got a few Venetian, Palazzo, Aria, Wynn available for anyone interested. I MAY have 1 or 2 extra Bellagio but won't know for a little bit. Claim yours if you want one.
