live poker tournment?

Hi, I live in Detroit and I saw a billboard that mentioned a "poker event" in canada, I believe at one of the Charity casinos, it was a 125k gaurenteed. I want to find out more information about it, but can't seem to find any. Anyoen know???? Thanks.

the only one in ontario lately was the Brantford one, but that was in the fall last year.

I know of no others that big.

Probably something planned for Windsor since they just opened their new room.

It was at the Point Edward Charity Casino in Sarnia. They held it last week.

a "poker event"? Heaven forbid Canada would ever start playing poker. After all, how would a poker table fit into an igloo.

They also have weekly tourneys on Thursdays. I think it starts at 7:00PM, but you have to sign up in the morning, and it's usually full before 9:00 AM. It's $55, with rebuys. I think first pays a few thousand dollars, and the top 10 from each tourney for 4 weeks get entered automatically into an invitational tourney on the 5th week.

Obviously, you've never been in an igloo!! There's plenty of room for one inside!... and cards slide nice on a well stretched caribou skin!!
