Pokerforum.ca wear at the WSOP

Hey gang.

We've mentioned this before, but let's actually commit to making some golf shirts or hats or some method of finding each other down there for the WSOP.

I have actually booked a room for the month at the Rio and have a room at binions for the finals!

I may have a party there, sepending on how I do...

I have tried my best on this.

I am still awaiting the approval from Sloth on using the site name.

For those of you that are interested in shirts. $20.00 plus shipping. White golf shirt, Pokerforum.ca on breast and a logo of 4 aces on your right sleave.

I need 20 to make this work.

What about hats? I would be VERY interested in the hats. I know a place that does them in town, probably $10-$12 cost per hat. But we would have to order about 50 minimum.

I emailed Sloth on this again.

Worst case is we print em up for the trip and then when he freaks out on us, we throw them away. Or better yet, sacrifice them to the poker gods for some luck.

Looking into hats

As far as the Bristol Street Casino. Same price and count is still 20 for all sizes up to XL. If you have a logo we have to digitize it. That why the 20.

here's the scoop.

I heard from sloth - he thinks it's a great idea. He wants to know if we should have a jazzier logo (his words, not mine). Maybe he or another admin will post a contest to design the new logo???

Anyhow, pending a new logo, we can go ahead and do it.

I am not going to be the lead or point on this, I just emailed sloth to ask. Whoever has made some arrangements with a promo company (to make the gear) is still the contact there. Another option is that we get an online company (one of the many) to sponsor the whole project. They are all interested in promoting at the WSOP and if they want to throw a logo on my FREE shirt and FREE hat as well, all the power to them.

Thoughts?

I hope to qualify for the WSOP but if I don't I have no intention of buying in. Does this mean I will not be qualified for the Pokerforum gear?

I do, but before I make a big deal out of it, I wanted to know what we all thought as well as the moderators (well, at least Sloth).

Also, Jimmi, I was thinking that the forum wear could be for playing down there in general. Nothing to do with the main event proper. More like when you see someone wearing it wherever you are (like the bunny ranch or something) you can buy them a beer.

The marketing director for PokerNow.com (cdn skin for party) has provided me with Tshirts pens etc for my home tournys. I can see if they would be into getting onboard, BUT do we want to be sponsered by Party?

I look at the guys with PartyTshirts and hats as bottom shelf.

As I said, I have relationships with one poker site for sure and two others that might be interested.

Before I ask them to throw in some coin, I need to know how many shirts we would want. I will also want to see if more people than the 4 or 5 who have responded here would want to participate also.

So far, I count about 6 or 8 people (myself included) who are going down and would wear the goods. How close am I?

No plans for WSOP just yet, unless I win a qualifier...

BUT I'm interested in a shirt (black) and/or hat.

if i won a seat, i would be interested, but i have no intent of going unless i win a seat online
