Vegas January 25-29

What should I do?

Wifey and I just returned from there about 3 weeks ago for a random 4 day trip in which I had food poisoning for 3 full days. Still managed to cash $1350 @ 1/3 bellagio style.

Anyhow we wanted to try vegas again and we literally got the whole stay comped and flights costed us $400 total return.

I do not see much in the way of tournaments during this time though :(

Plenty of daily tournaments to get your fix.

I'm there jan 13-17. I'm going to try the aria daily.

The 1pm? Just looked at structure and seems really decent. 30 min levels 10k starting stack.

Think I will try that out as well
  • Everyone who's mentioned playing in these (Aria daily) has never been disappointed.

plus the Venetian and Caesars dailies..
  • 1/3 at the Aria is also very juicy even in Janaury. Was there last Jan and it was very profitable.

The daily tourneys are always full and attract a lot of casual players.

Venetian deepstack has a better structure but a tougher field, IMO.
  • Is Binnion's still running daily tournaments? They always had the trifecta of cheap buy-ins, decent structures and God-awful players.
  • Do I have to reg early for the aria dailys?

Like an hour or so I think.

I showed up just before the scheduled start time of an Aria tourney once and was 3 on the wait list. Sat down around an hour later. No biggie.

This past trip I played 3 of them, never maxed out, late regs always got in within 10 min even showing up 30 min late..

    It's not a dump you insensitive boob - it's a urine-soaked hell-hole!

Might want to spend more if you're going down with the wife and stay at a nicer property.

I prefer the term "peepee soaked heck hole" thank you very much

+1. See what Flamingo or Ballys will quote you. You could probably get a few nights comped and just pay for one or two nights. IMO, worth it to stay at a nicer hotel.

    Cheerfully withdrawn.
