No Limit at casinos

just wondering if anyone knows if any casinos in Ontario other than Fallsview have NL and what the stakes are, 2/5 NL? 5/10? I read on Rama's website that they have NL play and didnt know that.

  • windsor has a $1/$2 100 Max NL, an i believe they have a 2/5 $200 min- $500 max NL also
  • I've never seen NL at Rama.

If you want to go across the border to Niagara Falls NY, Seneca Casino has two NL games... one is 1/2 blinds, min 40 buyin, max 100. The big game is 5/5 blinds, with a $300 min buyin no Max.
  • Rama has had that on their site forever....doesnt it also say Omaha??? Ive never seen that there.

Who has heard what about the NL play in Windsor and Niagara?

Don't mean to correct you Hork42, but I've been playing at Casino Seneca lately and can confirm that there is indeed a 1-2 NL with $40min/$100max buy-in... The 5-5 NL game is actually a $100min/$200max buy-in... Also, there is a 5-10 NL game that has a $500min/no Max buy-in which can be a really big, wild game where you really need to buy in for at least $1000-$2000 to be able to compete as there are several players who buy in for very large stacks.

The poker room at Seneca is the best poker room I've seen within driving distance of Toronto and is wort the trip. It's right across the Rainbow Bridge just a 2 minute drive across the border.
  • At seneca, why are the buy ins so tiny compared to the blinds? 5-5 NL game, the max buy in should be at least 100 BB, preferebale 200. A normal buy in for a game this size would be min 500 max 2000.
