    he's playing saturday.
  • Saturday......I would expect a softer field on the Saturday as well, as most of the sattelite entries pick the Saturday due to the early start on Friday.

Known Calvin for a few years, happy to see him ship Main. Not as pleased that Molcolm still remains Yellowhead money leader.

PFC member Kai with another final, Bashar also countinuing a sick year. TJ Tully hasn't been playing as much, one of Alberta's better players, shows here he hasn't forgotten everything....
  • What's Kai been up to Jon?
  • Pretty sure he is still just grinding. Mostly cash game player.

Is Malcolm a good tourny player? I have played cash abit with him and he seems like an agrodonk.

My first impression on Malcolm was this..........but you can't argue results.
  • Malcolm is a very successful General contractor who loves to put players to the test. I've watched him play a few friends $25/$50 here and $5/10 in Regina. My one buddy ran $500 to $5,000 but Malcolm made him work very hard for it. I was there for one of his final tables finishes ($17,000) and he had re-entered 5 times in that $1,500. That's still 8k profit.

Bottom line is he has zero fear of loss and he will be willing to stack off and bluff; just got to be on right end of it. In that sense, very competent and dangerous player. No idea his ROI but I think he is still beating game, just has more bullets in gun than most.
  • T8urmoney:Results are based on total cash won not ROI or profitability. He re-enters tournaments alot and plays alot of tournaments so this will inflate his winnings but not neccasarily his profit.

Jontm: The reason he might of seemed like an agrodonk to me was b/c we were playing 1/2, >$500 effective stacks but still its probally hard for him to take such small stakes seriously.

this isn't my first rodeo......he's for sure profitable in tourneys, don't play high stakes cash, so can't comment much on his cash game
