Ok,a little more about last night. Hopefully no one minds me posting non BAP related stuff here. I do have some pics I am taking with my playbook which I will post in Mooses Vegas thread her since that will like have lots of random stuff in it. As for last night.
Rather tired so I likely played even more cautious than usual. Some of you better cash game players likely would have been up twice what I was but I'm happy with it.
Only outlining big hands.
#1 Flopped set of 8's after small raise $10? 4 to the flop of 9,8,x. I have 300'ish in ep, I check, player 2 to my left bets 20, one caller, I call, turn 9 giving me the boat him the nut flush draw. He bets $20 again, I cr to $50. He calls leaving about $70 behind. River makes his flush, I bet what he has, he calls, easy game.
#2 Limp AA utg, 7 to the flop of $14. I know, I know:p Flop A, 3, 8. Bingo, they'll never see this coming. I lead out for $10. Agressive guy shoves stack in approx $150. Folded to me, have a 2nd look cuz I know im tired, nut str8, not even flush draw. Must be set over set I think. Nope, he has 2,5 for gut shot. Man these guys are bad... River 2 for A's over 2's, easy game.;)
This was also high hand for the hour for another free $100.

Nothing wrong with limping once in a while. As long as you can fold AA if you get a lot of resistance ( and of course don't flop the nuts ). Well played IMO.

Depending on the table you can limp AA tonnes in EP and play in very profitably. I assume there had been lots of preflop raising at this table?
FYI dropped 65 this morning playing at Flamingo, mostly with AA and a coordinated flop, I raised to 15, 2 callers, flop 9,8,6 2h. Bet 20 1caller, turns 9, he bets 45, I fold, he shows a 9, I told him I had black AK.
GgEnd of lvl 3, 294 runners. Blinds going to 100/200/25. Was up to 15k from 2k starting but just lost pretty big hand to chip leader at my table. I had AK suited he raised to 750, I call on the button, flop K, 9,6, he bets 1250, I call, turn 6, he bets 1800, I call again, river 7, he checks. I think, what will he call?, I bet 2K, he just calls and turns over K, 7. Damn, back to work.
Ok plan today.. Aria at 1pm.. But first, the famous Excalibur donkfest... This is the one to get me on a winning streak.... In fact I am so confident that this is a freebee for the BAP.. IE the buyin will not count in the cost unless I cash but any winnings will... How's that for confidence?
So about 12 collect our winnings from the Excal then rush up to Aria for 1. Just gotta remember to change gears in between.

Isn't your record like 90% or something on cashing in that tournament?
Excal, 5k chips 100/200, 15 min blinds, this will be quick. . Looks to be. 30 plus players. 5 min to start.
Holy crap!! and you thought the Planet Hollywood tourney was a crappy structure - at least you start with 6K and it's 20min blinds...the Excal is a total crap shoot!!
gl tho!!!
edit: forgot to mention that you start @ 25/50...not 100/200

You have to understand my special affection for it...:)
Out just before 2nd break. 200/400 I have 8200. In bb, 3. Limpers to me. Flop 567 2 diamonds. I have 6,8 no diamonds. Thought about pushing here but chickened out. Its checked around. Turn 9h bingo! Shove and get 2 callers. One has A9 diamonds and the other I actually didnt see. Would have been a nice triple up. Avg stack at that point was about 17k I believe.
Out of the pho daily. Shoved QQ from the bb after 3x raise from cutoff. Flopped a Q but he makes str8 by the river. Off to play Aria 1pm. Think positive.

Nice session.
Yes there had, just not this hand, lol. I would have no problem dumping it if non favorable flop and big action.
