Blinds are raised every 40 min. and start at 10/20, 25/50, 50/100 etc.
There will be a 10 min. break every 80 min.

    I logged in and couldn't figure out what you guy's were talkin about, then I read over the flyer, thanks for complaining. That was a typo, it is actually 40 min blinds, 10 min break every 80 min.

    Sadly, out of my comfort level. Good luck with the tourney!!!

    Not sure if you're looking for comments on the format, but I'd thought I'd pass along a couple...

    a) You're blinds currently start off.. "10/20, 25/50, 50/100". If you change the first blind to 25/25, the lowest denomination chip you'll need is (25), which may save you the headache of colouring up an extra time (and could possible give you an extra colour to use as higher denominations)

    b) You mentioned a break after every 80 minutes (2 levels), but the blind structure has breaks every 3 levels. (120 minutes) May want to double check this.

    c) Your last chance to rebuy ($100 for 1,500) chips, happens at the end of the 4th level (100-200) leading into the 5th level (200-400). If someone rebuys at this point in the tournament, they're only getting 3.5 Big Blinds worth of chips for $100 (making them an ultra-low stack). May want to consider ending the re-buy to coinside with the end of the break. It'll give you, as TD, one less thing to worry about.

    d) At first I thought the blind scheudle rose too fast, but with the correction to 40 minute levels, the structure is almost dead on to the ones I do, so that seems fine. I'd expect your tournament to run about 5-6 hours, (not including breaks)

    After reading some of the comments, I checked out some of the different tourney breakdowns, Terry and I have just finished talking to the guy who is supplying the tables, etc. and have come up with a format that seems better to suit everyone (price, blinds etc.), as there are a few that want to play, and a few that I would like to see play that don't want to spend 200, understandable.

    Thanks for the input and suggestions, as this is our first tournament over 20 people. The people we are renting the tables, chips and dealers from have assured us that they are pro's and that it will run smooth.
