    I have literally NEVER watched the original. There is only ONE Christmas movie worth a damn and that is the Alistair Sim version of A Christmas Carol. I will make exceptions for A Charlie Brown Christmas, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, as they are not movies, but that is all.

    I do not really consider Harold and Kumar a "Christmas Movie" so much as a movie that takes place during that time of the year. Same with Die Hard. Both of them would be relatively unchanged script/plot-wise if they took place in June.

    I have seen the Griswold movie, and Scrooged, etc . . . meh. Never seen Elf, as I find Will Farrell to be slightly less humourous than Gonorrhea.

    and yes Will Ferrell is about as funny as having your straight flush be no good with both hole cards in use...in a tournament.

    can't believe i'm going to say this but i agree with costanza.

    everyone else you listed = cut my ears off so i don't have to listen

    and for the record will ferrell is insanely funny. even his one serious movie which is not supposed to be a comedy (a really strange one called 'everything must go' where he's an alcoholic who gets kicked out by his wife but has nowhere to go so he lives on the front lawn for a while) he is still fucking funny in it.
